Robin Lynn Smart (nee Duchene), age 50 of Streetsboro. Beloved wife of Jonathan "Don"; dear mother of Justin and Josh (Alisha); loving grandmother of Brady, Tatianna, and Savannah; cherished daughter of Ernie (Pat) Duchene and the late Susan (nee Bean); sister of Tina Ellis, Ernie Duchene, Erin Duchene, and the late David Duchene; dear aunt. Peter Balishin

PETER BALISHIN, age 84 of Solon. Beloved husband of the late Pauline (nee Davis); dear father of Paulette (Norman) Boden, Peter Michael (Marcy) Balishin, Karann (Sandor) Szilagyi, and the late Roy Snow Sawdey III; loving grandfather of Kristina and Stacey Boden, Sarah and Peter T. Balishin, Christine and Jason Hager, and PJ Szilagyi; cherished great grandfather of Londyn Hager, Charity Rosenjack, and Julia, Matthew and Allison Quinn; brother of Mike Balishin, Kay Prenner, Sue Andrews, Helen Stevens, Ann Turenchalk, Josephine Stewart, and the late Nick, Mary Turenchalk, John, William, and Paul. Peter was born in Dixonville, PA on May 31, 1926 to John Balishin and Anastasia (nee Andrush). He married Pauline October 5, 1962 and they have raised their children in Solon. He was a Navy Veteran during WWII and Member of Solon AMVETS, Kiwanis, and Past Worshipful Master of

Masonic Lodge #757. He was proud of his status as an electrician, retiring in the early 1980’s. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, gardening, and music. He played the accordion for weddings and events.

   

Bart Adkins

BART ADKINS, age 69 of Bainbridge Twp., Ohio. Beloved husband of Norma Sue (nee Burchett); dear father of Bart Jr. (Kathy) of West Farmington, OH, Amy (Jim) Matthews, of Parkman, OH, and Debbie (Bob) Collins, of Streetsboro, OH; loving grandfather of Jacob, Damon, Eric Adkins, and Emily Collins; son of the late Charlie and Artie (nee Hatmaker) Adkins; brother of Frankie Peace, Charlene Ruszka, Wayne and Ray Adkins and the late Chloe Holcomb, Thelma Brader, Marie, and Fred Adkins. Funeral Services Saturday June 12, 10AM at Kindrich-McHugh Steinbauer Funeral Home, 33375 Bainbridge Rd., Solon, where family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 PM Friday. Interment Restland Cemetery, Bainbridge Twp. Memorials may be made to American cancer Society or Bethlehem Baptist Church.

Bart was a heavy equipment operator and member of Local 18 Equipment Operators. He enjoyed anything to do with the outdoors, nature and gardening and woodworking. He married Norma Sue on July 6, 1968 and they have lived and raised their family in Bainbridge Twp. since marriage. Bart and Norma Sue loved to travel together; raised on a mountain in Tennessee, Bart cherished the ability to see the world. He coached and played softball and was a proud member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.

 

Terence Schostek

TERENCE M. SCHOSTEK, age 42 of Albuquerque, NM. Beloved son of David N. and Marianne (nee Kappenhagen) Schostek; dear brother of Daniel (the late Lisa) and Thomas (Lisa) Schostek; loving uncle of Stephen, Matthew, Emily, Anna, and Sasha. Mass of Christian Burial Monday June 7, 10AM at Holy Angels Church, 18205 Chillicothe Rd., Bainbridge Twp, where family will visit with friends FROM 3-7 PM SUNDAY, June 6. Terry enjoyed fishing and gardening and had lived in New Mexico for the past two years working in the auto sales industry. He was raised in the South Euclid/Lyndhurst area of Cleveland and graduated from Brush High School.
