STEVEN L. FARKAS, age 71 of Aurora. Died October 10, 2008. Beloved husband of Patricia (nee Czier); dear father of Pamela (Greg) Reynolds, and Lt. Col. Paul M. (Sally) Farkas; loving grandfather of Gordon, Benton, Cullen, and Jim; brother-in-law of Cynthia and David Suhadolnik, and Lewis and the late Beverly Clernt; uncle of Stephanie and Lewis. Funeral Services Saturday, October 18 at 10AM, at KINDRICH-McHUGH STEINBAUER FUNERAL HOME, 33375 BAINBRIDGE RD., SOLON, where family will visit with friends FROM 2-4 AND 6-8 PM FRIDAY, October 17. Interment Crown Hill Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Rescue Village, 15463 Chillicothe Rd., Novelty, OH 44072.
Steve was born May 18, 1937 in Cleveland to Steve and Barbara (nee Varga) Farkas. He graduated from Charles F. Brush High School and Baldwin Wallace College. Married May 31, 1958 to Patricia Czier, they have lived in Aurora since 1971. Steve worked for NASA as a government contractor, as well as Sverdrup Corp. and Sprint in business activities. Steven loved to collect Civil War memorabilia and metal detect and was active with Buckeye Searchers Club. Steve died unexpectedly in his home of natural causes.
