BART ADKINS, age 69 of Bainbridge Twp., Ohio. Beloved husband of Norma Sue (nee Burchett); dear father of Bart Jr. (Kathy) of West Farmington, OH, Amy (Jim) Matthews, of Parkman, OH, and Debbie (Bob) Collins, of Streetsboro, OH; loving grandfather of Jacob, Damon, Eric Adkins, and Emily Collins; son of the late Charlie and Artie (nee Hatmaker) Adkins; brother of Frankie Peace, Charlene Ruszka, Wayne and Ray Adkins and the late Chloe Holcomb, Thelma Brader, Marie, and Fred Adkins. Funeral Services Saturday June 12, 10AM at Kindrich-McHugh Steinbauer Funeral Home, 33375 Bainbridge Rd., Solon, where family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 PM Friday. Interment Restland Cemetery, Bainbridge Twp. Memorials may be made to American cancer Society or Bethlehem Baptist Church. Bart was a heavy equipment operator and member of Local 18 Equipment Operators. He enjoyed anything to do with the outdoors, nature and gardening and woodworking. He married Norma Sue on July 6, 1968 and they have lived and raised their family in Bainbridge Twp. since marriage. Bart and Norma Sue loved to travel together; raised on a mountain in Tennessee, Bart cherished the ability to see the world. He coached and played softball and was a proud member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.
