Theresa M. Lanesky

THERESA MARGARET LANESKY (nee Remias) age 87 of Bainbridge Twp. Passed away Saturday, July 24. Beloved wife of the late George A.; dear mother of Linda Wilkinson, Cheryl (Dennis) Toth, and George S. (Carey); loving grandmother of Frank, Tim, and Mark Wilkinson, Carianne Baltzell, Christina Coffy, Erin Stewart, Jennifer and Valerie Toth and most cherished great-grandmother of 21; sister of Al and Edward and the late Steve and Richard Remias. Funeral Services Wednesday July 28, 11AM at KINDRICH-McHUGH STEINBAUER FUNERAL HOME, 33375 BAINBRIDGE RD., SOLON, where family will visit with friends FROM 5-8 PM TUESDAY EVENING AND ONE HOUR PRIOR TO SERVICES WEDNESDAY MORNING. Interment Restland Cemetery at a later date.

TIM LAWRENCE CHARNEY, age 52 died July 18, 2010. Cherished son of Lynne (nee Novak) and the late Lawrence F. Charney; loving brother of Lori (Stanley) Pilat and Janeen (William Jr.) Skipper;  dear uncle of David, Melissa, and Amy Pilat, Tyler, and Katryn Skipper; loving grandson of the late Hazel and Frank Novak and Frances and Edward Charney. FRANCES A. ZADNIK (nee Cesek), age 96 of Solon. Beloved wife of the late Phillip; dear mother of Frances (Richard) Timm and Richard (Joan) Zadnik; loving grandmother of Patricia, Pamela, Phillip, Tami, Todd, and Traci; cherished great grandmother of 11; sister of John Cesek, Gertrude Maneage and the following deceased: Anthony Cesek, Joseph Cesek, Mary Palazzo, Rose Mirtich, Judy Anderson and Mildred Cesek. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday July 21, 10:30AM at St. Rita Church, 32820 Baldwin Rd., Solon. Interment Calvary Cemetery. James L. Byer

JAMES L. BYER, 1932-2010. Army Veteran Korean War. After 10 years of battling Parkinson’s Disease Jim has succumbed to be home with his Lord. Survived by his wife of 57 years Alice “Sally” Byer; his children, Rod (Donna) of Gibsonburg, OH, Sherri (Chris) Mitko of Columbus, OH, Greg (Tracey) of Winston-Salem, NC, Bonnie (Chris) Jakub of Seven Hills, OH, Drew (Jessica) of Miami, FL; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren; brothers, William (Kay) Byer of Warsaw, IN, and Ralph (Mary) Kruger of Brookston, IN, and sister, Sharon Reher of Buffalo Grove, IL. Jim was a member of the Lions Club, Past Master of Masonic Lodge #757, Solon Players, and many different church choirs from the seven towns he had lived. Jim also gave of his time as Solon Community Church treasurer and a volunteer to prepare taxes for the senior citizens of Solon. Jim served as the Assistant Treasurer to Figgie International until he retired in 1997. Memorial services Monday July 19, 11AM at KINDRICH-McHUGH STEINBAUER FUNERAL HOME, 33375 BAINBRIDGE RD., SOLON, where family will visit with friends FROM 3-6 PM SUNDAY. In lieu of flowers please donate to a Veterans facility or to Parkinson’s research.

RICHARD H. HEIMAN, age 85 of Solon. Army Air Corps Veteran WWII. Beloved husband of Dorothy Jean (nee Hudak); dear father of James R. (Kim) Heiman, Rob L. Heiman (the late Sheila), and Cheryl Lynn Dickson; loving grandfather of Matthew, Scott (Mary Beth), Adam, Christopher, Robyn, and James (Jennifer); cherished great grandfather of Amelia, Juliana, Abby, Olivia, and Jacob; brother of Donald and the late Gertrude and Madelyn; special uncle of Sharon Roth and special friend of Dave Dickson. Services Saturday July 17, 10AM at Pioneer Memorial Presbyterian Church, 35100 Solon Rd., Solon. Interment Roselawn Cemetery.
